NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi on Monday distributed cotton bags among vegetables and fruits vendors around its office campus to create awareness on “no use of plastic bags” as part of the observance of Swachhata Pakhwada (Cleanliness fortnight) from 16th to 31st May, 2022.
On the occasion, NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters HR Head Wilson Abraham interacted with the vendors and distributed the cotton bags to promote the use of environment friendly bags in place of plastic bags for distribution of vegetables and fruits among the customers as the use of plastic have drastic consequences over the environment and our health.
AGM (HR) Tanmoy Dutta, DGM (HR) Y Debasish and Senior Manager (Corporate Communications) Amit Kumar Behera were also present during the program.
During observance of the Swacchta Pakhwada NTPC Coal Mining HQ organized various events and Essay, Painting and Elocution competitions, cleanliness drive i.e Best Clean Office Desk for employees, cleanliness & hygiene promotion at colleges by Swayamsiddha Ladies Club etc.
