Ranchi, September 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): The Hindi Pakhwada at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters in Ranchi concluded on September 30, 2024, after a fortnight of engaging activities that promoted the use of Hindi. The celebration featured various competitions, including handwriting, paragraph writing, slogan creation, and essay writing, which saw active participation from employees.
The event’s highlight was the inauguration of the Hindi magazine “Johar” by Animesh Jain, Chief Executive Officer of NTPC Mining Limited and Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining). The launch took place in the presence of Naveen Jain, Chief General Manager (C&M), AP Shrivastava, GM (Infra), S Pandey, GM (C&M), along with senior officials and employees.
Jain commended the initiative, emphasizing the importance of publishing the magazine to promote Rajbhasha (Hindi language) within the organization. Published by the Rajbhasha Section, “Johar” encourages employees to actively contribute to the use of Hindi. The magazine also showcases the literary and artistic talents of employees and their family members, fostering creativity and linguistic pride.
