Ranchi, September 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): As part of the ongoing “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters (CMHQ) in Ranchi organized a range of activities during the Swachhta Pakhwada, aimed at raising awareness and fostering a culture of cleanliness.
A key highlight was a workshop on “Waste Segregation,” conducted in collaboration with the local NGO Urban Kheti. The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from CMHQ and NML employees, equipping them with valuable knowledge on waste management and inspiring them to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
In addition, a debate competition on the theme “Swachhata Hi Seva” was held at Bajra High School, Ranchi, on September 30, 2024, which drew significant participation from students, highlighting the importance of cleanliness among the younger generation.
To further spread the message, a street play (Nukkad Natak) was performed by the Coal Mining/NML HQ team, focusing on the theme of cleanliness. Digital banners and selfie stations were also set up around the office premises, encouraging employees and associates to capture and share their participation, amplifying the campaign’s outreach.
