NTPC Coal Mining HQ organizes elocution competition during Hindi Pakhwada

As part of the observance of Hindi Pakhwada, NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters here organised various competitions among its employees and their family members.

In a bid to encourage the use of Hindi, an elocution competition on the topic “Women Empowerment in India“ was organized for members of the Swayamsidddha Ladies Club.

Veteran journalist and writer Sunil Singh Badal and NTPC Coal Mining HQ General Manager (Human Resources) K Srinivas Murty were the judges for the competition.

Refering to Mahatma Gandhi’s statemdnt, Badal said the language which is easy and accessible to all, has the power to become the medium in the religious, economic and political field, spoken by the majority of society, and is easy to understand, should be the national language.

Addressing the gathering, Srinivas Murty spoke on the importance of Hindi Pakhwada and the use of Hindi as a common language of communication. He appreciated the participants for taking part in the elocution competition.

NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi is observing Hindi Pakhwada from September 14 to 29.

The closing ceremony and prize distribution program of Hindi Pakhwada will be held on September 29, 2022.
