NTPC Coal Mining has dispatched the highest ever coal dispatch in any single day since its inception, informed a senior executive of the energy major here on Tuesday.
Addressing the employees of the company on the occasion of the Swachhta Pakhwada 2023 at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi which commenced today, NTPC Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) MVR Reddy said that NTPC Coal Mining has reached another milestone with despatch of 115666 MT of coal to NTPC power stations which is the highest ever coal despatch done in any single day since its inception.
Reddy congratulated the employees for the remarkable achievement.
As part of the observance of Swachhta Pakhwada 2023 at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters from May 16 to 31, Swachhta Pledge in Hindi was administered by Reddy and in English by Chief General Manager (SSC-C&M) Naveen Jain in the august presence of Heads of the Department and employees.
The pledge emphasized on voluntarily devoting 100 hours’ time in a year and at least 2 hours in a week by everyone for promoting cleanliness and encouraging others to get involved in Swachhta mission for making the country clean.
