NTPC Northern Headquarters hosts workshop on superannuation planning

NTPC Northern Region Headquarters (NRHQ), Lucknow, organized a one-day workshop on superannuation planning on Friday, aiming to equip employees with the knowledge and tools for a financially secure and well-planned retirement.

The workshop was inaugurated by N. S. Rao, Regional Executive Director (North), NTPC, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. In his address, Rao emphasized the importance of retirement planning and highlighted how such workshops enable employees to develop practical financial strategies. He praised the HR team for their proactive efforts in organizing the event, which aligns with NTPC’s commitment to employee welfare.

The session featured T. Suresh, Founder of CEBR Financial Planners Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, as the expert faculty. Suresh covered critical aspects of financial planning, including the significance of diversified investments, strategies to maximize retirement benefits, and transitioning smoothly from active employment to retirement.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior officials, including Amreek Singh Bhogal, GM (Operation Services), Samiran Sinha Ray, GM (HR), along with other Heads of Departments and employees. Their engagement underscored NTPC’s collective focus on fostering financial literacy and preparing employees for a secure future.
