NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club provides essential food items to needy villagers

Ranchi, August 27, 2024 (TBB Bureau):  The NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, based at the Coal Mining Headquarters in Ranchi, distributed essential food items and groceries to 40 needy families in Mahadev Toli village, Namkum, Ranchi, as part of its CSR initiative.

The distribution was carried out under the guidance of Rekha Jain, President of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, in collaboration with the Robin Hood Army (Swayam Sevi Sanstha).

Jain expressed her gratitude to the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club members for their generous contributions and encouraged them to continue participating in welfare activities, particularly those aimed at uplifting the underprivileged and providing education to children. She also interacted with the Robin Hood Army members, commending their involvement and thanking them for the opportunity to serve the community.

The event was attended by Welfare In-Charge and Vice President Shikha Rastogi, Cultural In-Charge and Vice President Purnima Shrikhande, Welfare Secretary Mansa Verma, Cultural Secretary Anitha Prasad, and Treasurer Snigdha Rani Majhi. The initiative was warmly received and appreciated by the beneficiaries.
