The triumph unfolded amidst the grandeur of the Public Sector Day celebrations, showcasing NTPC’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
The winning NTPC team, led by KM Prashanth, GM (CC), and Anshuman Srivastava, DGM (CP), showcased unparalleled knowledge and strategic thinking, clinching the coveted title in the fiercely contested grand finale. Their remarkable achievement stood as a testament to NTPC’s dedication to fostering intellectual rigor and professional excellence within its ranks.
The awards ceremony, graced by esteemed dignitaries including Amarendu Prakash, CMD-SAIL, Atul Sobti, DG, SCOPE, and Uttam Lal, Director (HR), NHPC, witnessed the jubilant moment of NTPC’s triumph.

The SBQB drew participation from over 100 teams representing various Maharatna, Navaratna, and Miniratna PSUs across the country, underscoring the event’s significance within the public sector domain. Following rigorous rounds of competition, the grand finale witnessed a riveting showdown between four formidable teams, with NTPC emerging triumphant after four rounds of rigorous quizzing.
The quiz, designed to test participants’ knowledge across a spectrum of domains including management concepts, current business events, brands, business personalities, and the rich legacy of Public Sector Companies, provided a platform for intellectual exchange and camaraderie among participants.
