Mumbai, October 1, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Odysse Electric Vehicles, India’s fastest-growing premium electric vehicle manufacturer, reported an impressive total of 367 units sold in September 2024, setting a new monthly sales record. This achievement reflects a growth of over 10% compared to August 2024. The surge in sales is attributed to the strategic expansion of Odysse Electric’s network across the country, which includes the opening of a new dealership in Purnea, Bihar, as well as two additional dealerships in Odisha. This expansion not only strengthens the company’s presence in key markets but also significantly improves customer accessibility.
With a reach extending to over 150 cities across 17 states, Odysse Electric is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for premium electric vehicles in India.
Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., expressed optimism about future demand, stating, “We are delighted to report significant growth of over 10% in September 2024 and are optimistic about witnessing more demand in the coming months as the festive season commences. The future of electric two-wheelers in India looks promising due to the undeniable increase in interest in greener and more sustainable alternatives.”
Founded in 2020, Odysse Electric is leading the transformation of India’s electric vehicle landscape. The company offers one of the largest product portfolios in the industry, which includes seven models: two low-speed scooters, two high-speed scooters, a delivery scooter aimed at the B2B segment, an EV sports bike, and a commuter bike for everyday users.
The diverse product range features the Electric Motorcycle Vader, equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen Android display, an AIS-156 approved battery, five drive modes, and 18 litres of storage space. The Electric Bike EVOQIS includes four drive modes, keyless entry, an anti-theft lock, and a motor cut-off switch.
Additionally, the latest addition, the High-Speed Electric Scooter SNAP, boasts an AIS-156 approved smart portable battery, a waterproof motor, and a distance-to-empty display. The High-Speed Electric Scooter HAWKLi is notable for being India’s first electric scooter with cruise control and a music system, along with a portable battery. The low-speed offerings include the E2Go Lite, E2go+, and E2GO Graphene, which feature portable batteries, USB charging, digital speedometers, and keyless entry. Finally, the V2 Lite and V2+ low-speed electric scooters are designed with waterproof motors, ample boot space, dual batteries, and LED lights. The TROT electric scooter is tailored for last-mile delivery, with a loading capacity of 250 kg and IoT integration.
