New Delhi, August 1, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Punjab National Bank (PNB), nation’s leading public sector bank, has upgraded the insurance coverage and benefits for Assam Rifles personnel under its “PNB Rakshak Plus” scheme, reinforcing its dedication to supporting the Assam Riffles.
The enhanced benefits of PNB Rakshak Plus offer comprehensive coverage including a Personal Accidental Insurance of Rs 1 crore and Air Accidental Insurance of Rs 1.5 crore. It also provides Permanent/Partial Disability Coverage of Rs 1 crore. In addition, the plan includes an additional cover of Rs 10 lakh for death occurring during operations. It covers the cost of imported medicines, including transportation, up to Rs 10 lakh, and provides coverage for Air Ambulance Costs up to Rs 10 lakh.
This apart, several additional benefits are being offered to the dependents and families of Rakshak Account holders.
The addendum to its existing MoU was signed by PNB Deputy General Manager P. Rose Kumar from Zonal Office Guwahati and Major General Jai Singh Bainsla, Additional Director General of Assam Rifles in the presence of Major General Raj Sinha and other senior officials of the PNB and Assam Rifles
