New Delhi, August 26, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of the country’s leading public sector banks, has further enhanced its WhatsApp Banking Services by introducing two new features that allow customers to download their account statements and interest certificates directly via WhatsApp. These new features complement the growing array of non-financial services offered through PNB’s WhatsApp Banking, which already includes balance inquiries, mini statements, cheque book requests, and emergency services, among others. This initiative highlights PNB’s ongoing commitment to providing secure, accessible, and convenient digital banking solutions to its customers.
The newly introduced features enable customers to download their account statements for the last week, last month, or a custom date range of up to 90 days, with the statement delivered as a password-protected PDF on WhatsApp. Additionally, customers can now download interest certificates for housing loans, education loans, or deposit accounts for specific financial years, also delivered as password-protected PDFs on WhatsApp. To access these new services or any other PNB WhatsApp Banking services, customers can simply start a conversation by sending “Hi” or “Hello” to +91-9264092640 and selecting “Account Related Services.”
