Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s leading public sector bank, won the ‘Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar’ for the fourth time in a row.
The Ministry of Home Affairs confers this award every year to banks for promoting the official language Hindi.
The award was presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah to PNB MD & CEO CH S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao, at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Union Ministers of State for Home Nityanand Rai, Ajay Kumar Mishra, and Nishith Pramanik were also present.
