SANY, a leading manufacturer of construction, mining, logistics, and energy equipment, has introduced India’s first locally manufactured hybrid off-highway 100-ton mining dump truck, the SKT130S. The launch at SANY’s Pune factory marks a significant step toward self-reliance in advanced mining machinery with world-class technology.
Engineered for superior power, efficiency, and operator safety, the SKT130S features a high-performance 925 kW engine generating 3200 Nm of torque, ensuring durability in demanding mining environments. Designed for heavy-duty applications, it boasts a 100-ton payload capacity and a 61 CuM heaped body capacity, making it a valuable asset in the mining sector.

The SKT130S is expected to achieve fuel savings of 20%-25% compared to conventional mining trucks. A key feature is its regenerative braking system, which allows the high-voltage battery to charge during downhill operations.
Designed for optimal performance, the SKT130S includes an intelligent control module for seamless operations and a 10-inch central control screen for improved navigation and safety. Prioritizing operator security, its cabin is FOPS/ROPS-certified, meeting global safety standards while maintaining strength and agility.
Reaffirming its commitment to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, SANY India has localized the SKT130S and is actively working toward further localization of major components.
