New Delhi, September 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): SBI Card, India’s largest pure-play credit card issuer, has partnered with Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA), Singapore’s national carrier, to launch the KrisFlyer SBI Card. Tailored for super-premium cardholders, this travel-centric card offers exclusive privileges both in the air and on the ground across the SIA Group, which includes Singapore Airlines, Scoot airline, KrisShop.com, the Kris+ lifestyle app, and Pelago. The credit card is available in two variants: the KrisFlyer SBI Card and the KrisFlyer SBI Card Apex.
Through this partnership, KrisFlyer SBI Cardholders can unlock a variety of accelerated rewards and milestone benefits for travel-related expenses. The cards feature exclusive welcome offers of 3,000 KrisFlyer miles for the KrisFlyer SBI Card and 10,000 KrisFlyer miles for the KrisFlyer SBI Card Apex. Cardholders can earn up to 80,000 or more KrisFlyer miles per year, enhancing their travel experiences with unparalleled convenience and luxury. Customers can apply for the card digitally via SBI Card SPRINT or the SBI Card website, as well as offline at SBI Card retail kiosks.

The KrisFlyer SBI Card offers enhanced mileage earning opportunities. Spending Rs 2.5 lakh on Singapore Airlines using the KrisFlyer SBI Card or Rs 7.5 lakh using the KrisFlyer SBI Card Apex entitles customers to KrisFlyer Elite Silver and KrisFlyer Elite Gold memberships, respectively. These upgrades come with additional benefits, including extra baggage allowance, priority check-in and boarding, exclusive bonus miles, seat selection privileges, lounge access, enhanced travel insurance, and more. Reward points earned by customers will be credited monthly as KrisFlyer miles at no extra cost. These miles can be redeemed for flight tickets, upgrades on Singapore Airlines, flights on Scoot, purchases on KrisShop.com, and global travel experiences through Pelago.
The joining and annual renewal fees are Rs 2,999 plus taxes for the KrisFlyer SBI Card and Rs 9,999 plus taxes for the KrisFlyer SBI Card Apex. Both cards, available on American Express and Mastercard platforms, are contactless and offer attractive rewards tailored to various customer needs.
