Puri, July 12, 2024 (TBB Bureau): The annual Rath Yatra festival in Puri has taken on a new dimension this year with the introduction of the ‘Sunfeast Surjyalay’ experience zone by Sunfeast Marie Light. Dedicated to celebrating the cultural extravaganza and the symbolic significance of the sun, the zone offers devotees a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the festival.
At the heart of the experience is the “Pulling the Rath” activity, where participants virtually pull three chariots in synchronization, mirroring the spiritual fervor of the actual event. This interactive feature allows devotees to capture memorable moments and receive Sunfeast Marie Light solar cards adorned with Lord Jagannath’s image, which animate with sunrays when exposed to sunlight.
