In a decisive move to bolster power infrastructure and ensure reliable electricity supply in Cuttack, Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) has commissioned two pivotal projects, reinforcing its commitment to delivering robust and efficient energy solutions across the region.

A major highlight is the commissioning of a state-of-the-art Primary Substation at Manguli. This critical facility is poised to benefit over 10,000 consumers spanning Manguli, Choudwar, and Tangi, by significantly enhancing voltage stability and ensuring uninterrupted power. The substation is expected to cater to the growing energy needs of both residential communities and industrial zones, paving the way for sustained regional development.

In a parallel development, TPCODL has energized a new 20/25 MVA Power Transformer at the Kalinga Primary Substation. This vital upgrade is set to reinforce electricity distribution in several prominent localities, including Barabati Stadium area, Chandi Mandir, Tulasipur, Chandni Chowk, Buxi Bazaar, and Sati Choura. By expanding transformer capacity, TPCODL aims to reduce network stress and improve overall power quality across these densely populated areas.

These infrastructure enhancements are integral to TPCODL’s comprehensive summer preparedness strategy, designed to meet the anticipated surge in electricity demand during peak summer months. By proactively strengthening key elements of the distribution network, the utility is ensuring a seamless and reliable power experience for its consumers.

With these projects, TPCODL continues to demonstrate its dedication to powering progress in Central Odisha through strategic investments in modern and resilient energy infrastructure.
