V-Trans, a major player in the logistics industry, has announced ambitious plans to achieve a turnover of Rs 3000 crore by 2026. Renowned for its leadership position in the sector, the company has revealed a comprehensive growth strategy with a strong emphasis on surface transport and technological innovation for sustainable profitability.

Key highlights of V-Trans’ growth plan include prioritizing its core competence in surface transport while expanding into multimodal logistics operations, including air and road combinations. With the Full Truckload (FTL) market valued at $120 billion, the company aims to capture a larger market share by enhancing its presence in this lucrative segment through digitization efforts aimed at improving efficiency and transparency.

In a strategic move, V-Trans plans to focus on northern India, which currently contributes 30% of its overall revenue. The company will invest significantly in expanding branches, warehouses, and infrastructure in this region to support its growth objectives. Additionally, V-Trans will establish new transhipment facilities in Ghaziabad and Zirkapur, alongside existing large warehouses in Dharuhara and Raliawas in Haryana, and open new branches in 3 & 4 tier cities in eastern UP, western UP, Uttarakhand, and Punjab.

Recognizing the importance of technology, V-Trans has invested in a new ERP system and API integrations with government portals, customers, and vendors to ensure seamless information flow. Furthermore, the company is expanding its third-party logistics operation under the V-Logis brand in the northern region, creating employment opportunities and offering world-class facilities.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, V-Trans is actively working on reducing its carbon footprint through optimization tools, efficient truck utilization, and driver education. Solar panel installations in all large hubs have substantially reduced electricity consumption.

V-Trans (India) Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Mahendra Shah expressed confidence in the company’s vision for sustainable growth and technological advancement. He emphasized V-Trans’ commitment to responsible and impactful progress, stating that the turnover target reflects their dedication to leading positive change in the logistics industry.

“With a focus on propelling growth, fostering innovation, and building a future that exceeds expectations, V-Trans is poised to make significant strides in the logistics landscape,” he added.
