Sundargarh, August 16, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, on Thursday celebrated 78th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor, embodying the spirit of unity and freedom. The Vedanta Aluminium Mining team sought to inspire national pride and foster community spirit by organizing celebrations that involved over 4,000 students from more than 30 schools in the Sijimali and Sundargarh areas.
The event featured a variety of interactive activities, including drawing and patriotic singing competitions, bringing together students, teachers, and community members to express their love for the country.
Trailoknath Bisoi, a student at Government SSD High School, Gunpur, shared his experience: “Participating in the drawing competition ignited a profound sense of patriotism and deepened my love for my country. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to express my national pride through art. I am truly grateful to Vedanta for organizing such an inspiring and engaging event that celebrated our shared values.”
