Vedanta Aluminium hosts IIM Sambalpur students at its mega plant in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda, October 22, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium producer, recently welcomed students from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur to its state-of-the-art aluminium plant in Jharsuguda as part of its Campus Connect initiative. The visit offered the students an in-depth understanding of the aluminium manufacturing process, which serves over 60 countries, and provided valuable insights into sustainable business practices on a global scale.

During the on-wheel tour, led by experienced professionals, the students witnessed cutting-edge machinery and advanced processes at work. They also observed Vedanta’s stringent safety protocols and industry-leading operational standards, underscoring the company’s commitment to excellence. The visit culminated in an interactive Q&A session, where students engaged with Vedanta’s leadership team on topics such as career opportunities, industry trends, and the crucial role of sustainability in the aluminium sector.
