Bhubaneswar, November 1, 2024 (TBB Bureau): A Felicitation Ceremony was held on Sunday to honor twelve students from KISS who successfully passed the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination this year.
Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary to the Government for ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes, SSEPD, and the Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department, served as the chief guest. He motivated the students to aim for success in the Indian Administrative Services as well, emphasizing the importance of sustained effort and faith in God. He urged the students to focus their time on productive endeavors without distractions.
Inspiring the 12,000 KISS students present at the event, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS, stated that KISS has made comprehensive arrangements to support its students in excelling in the IAS examination. He announced that KISS will provide all necessary resources for those students who aspire to prepare for the IAS in cities like Delhi.
During the ceremony, distinguished guests also released Sethi’s book, The Collector’s Mother. KISS Advisor Professor Sasanka Sekhar Chudamani provided insights into the book authored by the Secretary. The event was attended by Dr. K.C. Mohali, former Director General of KISS; Professor Deepak Behera, Vice Chancellor of KIIT University; and Dr. Prashant Kumar Rautaray, Registrar.
