The second half-yearly meeting of Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) for FY2022-23 was held at the Corporate Office of National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) under the chairmanship of NALCO Chairman-cum-Managing Director & TOLIC (U) President Sridhar Patra with the participation of other member offices of the CPSEs operating in Bhubaneswar.
Nirmal Kumar Dubey, Assistant Director (Implementation), Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India along with Radhashyam Mahapatro, Director (HR), NALCO were also present on the occasion as the distinguished guests.
On this occasion, awards were also distributed to winners of various competitions that were organized earlier among the participating TOLIC (U) members under the Hindi Fortnight celebration.
Addressing the participants, Patra said that being a Government of India organisation, it is our collective responsibility to work for promotion and implementation of official language Hindi.
Dubey appreciated the efforts of NALCO in organising the TOLIC (undertaking) meeting and support of all the member organizations in the progressive use of Hindi in the region.
During the event, Airports Authority of India, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd received the first, second and third prize respectively under the Best Official Language Implementation offices category.
