In a function held at Ispat Stadium here to mark the SAIL Foundation Day, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) CEO Dipak Chattaraj presented the coveted Nehru Vishista Karmachari Puraskar to 79 employees for the year 2020.
The employees were awarded for their exemplary contributions towards improving the performance of the plant with their commitment, dedication and ingenuity.
Notably, under the guidance of the RSP CEO, the award amount of the Nehru Vishista Karmachari Puraskar has been doubled this year. Hence, each of the winners was presented with a certificate and cash award of Rs 10,000.

Among others, Raj Vir Singh, ED(P&A), Pankaj Kumar, ED(Projects), CR Mohapatra, Chief General Manager Incharge (Materials Management & Marketing), Praveen Nigam, Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts), Dr. BK Hota, Chief Medical Officer, other Chief General Managers and several senior officers of the Steel Plant were present on the occasion.
