Dhamra Port played host to the engaging two-day event, Dhamra.Connect – 2024, on January 19th and 20th, witnessing enthusiastic participation from officials spanning diverse industries across the state and the nation. Representatives from governmental and non-governmental organizations also joined the event, underscoring the vital role these industries play in supporting the port’s cargo handling and import-export operations. Participating officers expressed gratitude, recognizing the port’s pivotal role in providing cost-effective raw materials to partnering companies.
During the event, Adani Dhamra Port CEO Devendra Thakkar seized the opportunity to elaborate on the port’s operations, state-of-the-art facilities, and the utilization of modern equipment. Thakkar emphasized collaborative efforts with companies involved in port operations, highlighting the port’s potential to emerge as a key player in delivering top-notch services. Insights into the port’s future expansion plans were shared, complemented by a comprehensive explanation of operational procedures by Port Chief Operating Officer Sanjeev Gupta.
To provide officials with firsthand experience, a tug-boat excursion was organized, allowing them to explore the intricacies of the port map with guidance from experienced captains.
