Akhil Kumar Mishra assumes charge as ADG of PIB Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, September 9, 2024 (TBB Bureau): Akhil Kumar Mishra, a distinguished officer from the 1999 batch of the Indian Information Service, has assumed the role of Additional Director General (ADG) of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) and the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) in Bhubaneswar, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. In addition to his primary responsibilities, Mishra will also serve as the Additional Press Registrar General of Odisha and will hold additional charge of the Jharkhand region.

A dynamic and efficient officer, Mishra brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served in several key positions at All India Radio, Doordarshan, the Central Board of Film Certification, PIB, and CBC. His extensive experience and commitment to public communication have been invaluable in all these roles, further cementing his reputation as a versatile and capable leader.
