ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has delivered 100 medical grade oxygen cylinders to Paradip Port Trust (PPT) to bring relief to victims of Covid-19.
The cylinders were handed over to the Paradip Port Trust Hospital in presence of PPT Deputy Chairman Asish Kumar Bose, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Prahallad Panda and other senior officials of PPT.
Speaking on the occasion, Asish Kumar Bose said, “The effort taken by AM/NS India will help us fight against COVID-19 pandemic collaboratively; and we are thankful to AMNS India for taking initiatives for the treatment of coronavirus-affected patients.”
G. Suresha, Executive Director (Odisha Operations) at AM/NS India, said, “The country is now facing the biggest public health crises and our focus throughout this pandemic has been the health of our people, our communities. We appreciate the State Government for taking necessary measures that have helped us in strengthening our hands further in the fight against COVID-19. We have a responsibility to support the government at need of the hour.”
