ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) today delivered the second tranche of a consignment of 5,020 medical grade oxygen cylinders and 2,000 units of flowmeters to Odisha for people affected with COVID-19.
Lakshmi Mahapatra, Head of Corporate Affairs (Odisha Operations) at AM/NS India, handed over the oxygen cylinders to Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited in presence of IPICOL MD N. B. Jawale and a host of senior government officials.
These oxygen cylinders would be distributed by the Odisha Government to medical centres across the state soon.
Speaking on the occasion, IPICOL Managing Director N B Jawale said, “Timely interference of AMNS in oxygen cylinder supply has helped the Odisha government a lot to fight against Covid-19 pandemic. The company has worked swiftly to organize and deliver the second tranche of these critical medical supplies to the Odisha government.”
