Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL), one of the nation’s leading cement manufacturers, celebrated the valuable contributions of 123 veteran contractors across the Eastern region, including 35 from Odisha, at its ‘Aap Hai Sachche Viswakarma’ felicitation initiative. Saluting elderly retired contractors whose expertise and craftsmanship have made innumerable dream homes of individual house builders a reality, the event was held during the company’s annual Viswakarma Pooja celebration in Odisha.
During the celebration, the life and work of selected senior contractors, encapsulated in a specially-designed album, was shared with the entire contractor fraternity. Each of the Viswakarmas was also presented with a memento, a shawl and a wall clock.
“As a mark of honour and gratitude towards our elderly contractors in the East region, we salute them on Viswakarma Puja day day to commemorate their irreplaceable craftsmanship that has helped build our nation. We hope that our ongoing efforts will help forge a strong emotional connect and infuse a sense of respect that is an integral aspect of the value system of Dalmia Bharat Limited,” said a company spokesperson while commenting on the ‘Aap Hai Sachche Viswakarma’ initiative.
