Dalmia Bharat Foundation felicitates DIKSHa trainees

Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Bharat Group, felicitated 10 trainees from Dalmia Institute of Knowledge & Skill Harnessing (DIKSHa) who secured placement with KITEX Garments Pvt. Ltd. in Tamil Nadu at an average annual salary of Rs. 184,020. The trainees will soon join their new workplace.

The students were provided skill training in Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (ISMO) trade at Rajgangpur centre of DIKSHa.

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. Rajgangpur Unit Head Chetan Srivastava, Company’s newly appointed Additional Executive Director Dr. Niladri Padhi, and Jyoti Prakash Sethi from District Employment Office, Rourkela addressed the trainees at the felicitation ceremony.

Advising the trainees to focus on their work, Sethi said that hard work, dedication and determination will lead them to a brighter future.

Srivastava congratulated the newly appointed Diksha trainees and wished them a bright future. He advised them to make their family and village proud with their hard work and better performance at their place of work.

Dr. Niladri Padhi lauded the appointment of 10 trainees of Rajgangpur DIKSHa centre. He suggested involving more and more local youths in this training programme to solve unemployment problem.

The event was attended by more than 85 trainees, their parents and local youths interested in training.

So far, more than 434 youths have got skill development training from the DIKSHa Centres at Rajgangpur and Jharsuguda. Notably, DBF has DIKSHa training centres also at Rourkela, Deogarh, Cuttack and Jajpur where training is imparted on trades like Home Health Aide, Sales Associate (Retail), Electrician, Beauty & Wellness and Industrial Sewing Machine Operator.
