In view of the severe cold caused by the outbreak of cold wave, the CSR wing of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited’s Lanjiberna Limestone and Dolomite Mines distributed blankets among 500 senior citizens of Lanjiberna and Kheramuta villages of Sundargarh district.
The blanket distribution programme was inaugurated by Sangam Mahila Mandal President Sunita Gupta. Tapan Kumar Nayak, Senior Manager of Lanjiberna Mines CSR department was also present on the occasion. Khatang Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Pushpa Kerketa and all ward members of Lanjibarna village extended their support for smooth organisation of the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that the Company is committed to the progress of the people living in Lanjiberna region.
Lauding the noble initiative of the Company, Khatang Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Pushpa Kerketa hoped that Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited would continue its support for the welfare of the villagers and the development of the Lanjibarna region.
