RAJGANGPUR, APRIL 24, 2024 (TBB BUREAU): Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, in collaboration with Zilla Swasthya Samiti, NHM Sundargarh, inaugurated a new immunization centre at SPANDAN Hospital in Rajgangpur.
Recognized as the premier hospital within industrial settings for its top-notch infrastructure and services, SPANDAN Hospital offers round-the-clock emergency and ambulance services, as well as OPD services catering to employees, their families, and residents outside the colony. The hospital also provides IPD services and houses an emergency ward, boasting a team comprising seven trained nurses and other paramedical staff, along with three doctors serving as Group Medical Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Factory Medical Officer.
Eminent guests including Dr. JC Toppo, Superintendent-CHC Rajgangpur; Dr. M Lata Pillay, MO-UPHC Rajgangpur; BS Rao, MPHW Rajgangpur CHC; Chetan Shrivastav, Executive Director -DCBL & Unit Head, Rajgangpur; Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Singh, AED & Cluster Chief Medical Officer; and Dr. Kavita Singh, GM & Chief Medical Officer Rajgangpur, graced the occasion.
The newly launched immunization centre aims to benefit children aged between 1 month and 10 years. Immunization services will be available every 4th Wednesday of the month from 7 am to 11 am.
Speaking on the occasion, Shrivastav expressed his delight at the inauguration of the new immunization centre, stating that it represents a significant milestone in their commitment to public health and well-being. He emphasized the company’s dedication to providing accessible health services, particularly in the critical area of immunization, which plays a pivotal role in safeguarding individuals and communities against preventable diseases.
The establishment of the immunization centre at SPANDAN Hospital reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring easy access to vaccination for the DCBL population falling within the eligibility bracket. Operating under the direct supervision of expert doctors and equipped with OPD facilities, the centre underscores SPANDAN’s commitment to public health and quality healthcare delivery for employees, their families, and the general public.
