Dalmia Cement, Odisha Livelihoods Mission ink pack for peripheral development

The Rajgangpur Unit of the Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited [DCBL] which has been working tirelessly for the socio-economic development of the people living in its plant periphery, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sundargarh Division of the Odisha Livelihoods Mission to further strengthen the bonds with the peripheral populace and uplift their living standards.

DRDA Project Director Bhairav Singh Patel signed the MoU on behalf of Odisha Livelihoods Mission, while DCBL Executive Director & Rajgangpur Unit Head Chetan Shrivastav represented Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited.

Under the MoU, various livelihood-based programs will be undertaken by DCBL in Rajgangpur and Kutra blocks for the sustainable livelihood of 600 families in three years.

Commenting on the development, Shrivastav said, “I hope, this partnership will help improve the living standards of the members of 600 families.”

Among others, Odisha Livelihoods Mission Project Manager Samuel Toppo, DCBL Assistant Executive Director Niladri Bhusan Parhi, Public Relations Department Head Chandra Sekhar and CSR and R&R Department officials were present on the occasion.
