Hundreds of devotees offer oblations at Vedanta-sponsored Jagannath Temple

The sacred ‘yajna’ at the new Jagannath Temple, built in collaboration with Vedanta and villagers at Katikela village in Sundergarh district of Odisha came to an end today with over devotees offering oblations to the Trinity.

Over one thousand devotees from Sundergarh and nearly districts offered prayers to the Trinity seeking the divine blessings, and took ‘prasad’.

Vedanta Alumina’s Jharsuguda Unit CEO Sunil Gupta and other senior officers of the company attended the programmes and prayed for the wellbeing of the people.

Office bearers of the Katikela Jagannath Temple Committee thanked the District Administration, Police and devotees for smooth conduct of the devotional programme.
