The fortnight-long Management Skills Orientation Programme (MSOP) for qualified Company Secretaries, organised by the Bhubaneswar Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) got underway on Monday.
The training programme is being conducted to expertise the passed out students and acquaint themselves to work in different organisations, different cultures and also help them practice as independent Company Secretaries.
The training is mandatory for all the passed out students before admitting them as Associate members of the ICSI.
Eastern India Regional Council of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI-EIRC) Chairman Soumya Sujit Mishra, ICSI Bhubaneswar Chapter Chairman Bimal Prasad Pattanaik, Vice Chairperson Sasmita Panda, Treasurer Srimanta Baboo, other Company Secretaries Jyotirmaya Panigrahi and Nilakantha Samal and managing committee members addressed during the inaugural session of the MSOP.
Students from different parts of Odisha, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Raipur and Vizag are attending the programme.
During the 15-day programme, experts from regulatory bodies, trade, industry, management Institutions and professionals will address various practical sessions.
