Naveen Jindal-led Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) on Saturday celebrated Vishwakarma Puja at its Angul Plant premises. JSP Managing Director Bimlendra Jha, Chief Executive Officer (Steel Business) Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, Executive Director Sabyasachi Bandyopadhyay and ED Damodar Mittal along with employees and their families and the villagers from the periphery joined the Vedic puja rituals held at the Plate Mill area of the steel plant.
Attending the Puja for the first time at Angul, MD Jha greeted the workforce for their immense contribution for the growth of the company and for nation building.
Jha led the worshipping of the Divine Architect Lord Vishwakarma and prayed for the wellbeing of the workforce of the company and for the prosperity of the countrymen.
This apart, a special puja of Lord Vishwakarma, enshrined inside the Jagannath Temple situated at Dev Bhoomi, Jindal Nagar, was also performed.
