Satyabrat Mohapatra, a student of JSP Foundation’s Utkarsh programme, has cleared the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2020. Son of a hawker in Angul bus stand and physically challenged, Satyabrat cracked this prestigious examination with a rank of 279.

Hridayeswar Jha, Executive Director & Location Head of JSP Angul, felicitated Satyabrat for his remarkable achievement in the Odisha Civil Services Examination and wished him all success in future endeavours.

Satyabrat Mohapatra, son of Angul’s Srikant Mohapatra and Sumitra Mohapatra, achieved this success fighting the challenges of physical disability and poor economic condition of the family. Satyabrat, a meritorious student, managed his studies with scholarships all though his educational career. He has completed Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT).

He joined JSP Foundation’s Utkarsh programme, which offers free civil service coaching classes in association with Gurukul Foundation’s IAS Gurukul.
