Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) commemorated the birthday of Savitri Jindal, the esteemed Chairperson Emeritus of OP Jindal Group, with a heartfelt display of solidarity and service towards socially vulnerable and underprivileged communities.
In honour of this special day, JSP Foundation, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of JSP, extended its outreach to uplift the lives of those in need across the Angul district. Summer clothing and nutrition packets were distributed to residents of the Leprosy Ashram, Tribal Senior Citizens Ashram, and various other locations, exemplifying JSP’s commitment to supporting the local community.
Executive Directors Pankaj Malhan and Damodar Mittal led the enthusiastic employees and stakeholders in spreading joy and goodwill on this auspicious occasion. The celebrations included special prayers and hawans at the revered Devbhoomi temple in Jindal Nagar and DAV Savitri Jindal High School, where blessings were sought for Savitri Jindal’s continued good health and prosperity.
Moreover, JSP Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to an inclusive society by celebrating the day with Children with Special Needs at the Jindal Asha Centre, underscoring its vision for a more equitable and compassionate India.
The spirit of celebration and service extended throughout various locations, including Jindal Nagar and Shramik Vihar, where the occasion was marked with mirth and gaiety, reflecting the values of unity and solidarity championed by Savitri Jindal.
