JSPL Foundation, the social arm of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. (JSPL), carried out a slew of welfare activities to mark the birthday of Savitri Jindal Ji, Chairperson Emeritus of OP Jindal Group.
The Foundation provided dry ration packets to the inmates of various care homes at Angul. Officials of Jindal Mahila Samiti, Angul took the lead in distributing the food packets.
In the honour of Smt. Jindal, DAV Savitri Jindal High School, Angul organised a cake cutting ceremony which was also attended by JSPL’s Ravi Shankar, EVP & Head (HR&ES). The school also organised virtual competitions in rangoli, drawing, portrait making among students. Winners of the competitions were felicitated by Ravi Shankar in presence of JSPL’s GM (CSR) Puspalata Satapathy, Headmaster of the school Fakira Mohan Sahoo and other staff of the school.
JSPL Foundation also provided several teaching and learning materials to the library of the Juvenile Home at Angul.
