Khelo India University Games: KIIT student Sneha Soren wins gold in weightlifting

Sneha Soren of KIIT University has won the first gold medal in 49-kg weightlifting in the 2^nd Khelo India University Games held in Bengaluru.

Sneha lifted 69 kg in Snatch event and lifted 92 kg in Clean and Jerk event with a total lift of 161 kg.

LIIT & KISS Founder Achyuta Samanta congratulated Sneha on her brilliant performance, and wished her a bright future.

Earlier, Sneha won bronze medal in the National Weightlifting Championship held in KIIT Stadium and clinched gold with a new record in the National University Games in Guntur.
