Bhubaneswar, May 27, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In a remarkable achievement, all 1,885 students from the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) who appeared for the Class-XII examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) have passed. This success spans across the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, marking a 100 percent pass rate. The results were announced on Sunday, with girls outperforming boys.
Among these students, 38 percent secured first division marks. Breaking this down by stream, 40 percent of Science students, 41 percent of Commerce students, and 33 percent of Arts students achieved first division marks.
Hiramani Mallick topped the Arts stream with a score of 88 percent. In the Science stream, Libu Sardar achieved the highest marks with 80 percent. Shankar Bhumij secured 87 percent, topping the Commerce stream. Additionally, seventy-five students from various Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) excelled in the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams.
These outstanding results reflect the dedication of both students and faculty at KISS, highlighting the institute’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering opportunities for success.
