On the occasion of 48th Coal India Foundation Day on November 1, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) bagged awards for outstanding contribution in safety, CSR, welfare and cleanliness.
During the celebrations in Kolkata, the awards were presented by Union Minister for Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi to MCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director OP Singh and others.
Jagannath Area General Manager Ashok Kumar Dhal was bestowed with Best Area General Manager Award for his appreciable contribution to coal production whereas MCL HQ General Manager (Material Management) Mihir Chandra bagged the Best Head of the Department Award.
