NABARD signs MoA with Odisha Govt for Fisheries & Aquaculture Infra Development

The Odisha Regional Office of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on Friday signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) under FIDF with the Odisha Government.

The MoA was signed between State Principal Secretary (Finance) Vishal Kumar Dev and NABARD Odisha RO Chief General Manager C Udayabhaskar Chief General Manager in presence of Principal Secretary (AH & FRD) R Raghu Prasad, Special Secretary NK Rout, Additional Secretary (Finance) RN Das, NABARD DGM SR Panda, AGM NL Sahoo, and AGM Smita N Badajena.

On the occasion, the NABARD CGM discussed various developments under Fisheries and Animal Husbandry sector and FIDF operational modalities with the Principal Secretary (Finance).

“Dedicated Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF) world help in creation of fisheries infrastructure facilities both in marine and inland fisheries sectors and augment the fish production of the State,” said Udayabhaskar.

Assuring all support from the State Government, Dev opined that the agreement would bring a revolutionary change in the Fisheries sector of the State and help tap the potential.
