NTPC Kaniha organises state level painting competition

KANIHA, DEC 2, 2021

NTPC Talcher Kaniha organised a two-day state level painting competition on ‘Energy Conservation’ on behalf of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Union Ministry of Power.

Students from classes V to X, of DAV Public School, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir participated in the event. The painting competition was conducted under the National Campaign on Energy Conservation, launched by the Ministry of Power, to promote energy conservation in the country.

With ‘Cleaner Planet’ and ‘Energy Efficient India’ as the central themes, the competition aimed to make the students aware about the need for conserving energy.

The competition is an exemplary effort to provide a platform to the students to showcase their creativity while making them aware about Energy Conservation.

The winners at the state level will be notified on December 8 and will be eligible to participate at the national level competition.
