OP Jindal School, Angul observed the National Unity Day-2021 on Sunday with floral tributes offered before the portrait of the “Iron Man of India” Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. To mark the occasion, the School organised Cyclothon, Brisk-walking, Jogging and other activities for the students, parents and JSPL employees residing in the Jindal Nagar Township.
Swati Thakur, Babita Modi and Tapaswini Mallick secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the Brisk-walk competition for mothers; and Vikram Sahu, Ashish Kumar Singh and Raj Kumar Chawla bagged the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in Jogging competition.
Shravani Bisen, Tanishi Goel and Sugandha emerged winners of the Cyclothon for girls securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place; whereas Shiva Rajput, Vansh and Sahitya Yadav got 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in th boys category of Cyclothon.
OP Jindal School Principal Atanu Rath felicitated the winners with trophies and certificates. Sangeeta Sharma, Headmistress conveyed sincere gratitude for the constant support from every corner to make the day memorable and successful.
