“Paradip Port Authority (PPA) will continue its journey to remain in the forefront for providing a clean environment to the local populace,” said PPA Chairman PL Haranadh, here today.
Launching three more Mechanised Road Sweeping Machines to clean the arterial and sub-arterial roads of the Port Township, PPA Chairman Haranadh said, “The newly commissioned sweeping machines would bring positive impact on the cleanliness and hygienic condition of the Port area.”
He further assured that as the STPs are getting connected from the drains of Port Township, the waste water will not flow to the nearby natural streams.
The Mechanised Road Sweeping Machines were deployed by the PPA as part of the ongoing Special Campaign 2.0, which started on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) and will culminate on October 31. During the campaign special focus is laid on disposal of pending matters, and scrap disposal cleanliness.
Among others, PPA Deputy Chairman AK Bose, HoDs and Deputy HoDs were present at the programme.
