Paradip Port Authority (PPA) organised an event at the local Jagruty School on the occasion of International Day of Persons With Disabilities. Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, PPA Secretary PN Bahekar along with DC Alekh Sahoo, DTM Sriman Narayan Mishra and Jagruty Secretary saluted the spirit of determination of the school children and mentioned that PPA would take necessary steps within its ambit for the all-round development of the school.
Bahekar also emphasized on society to come forward for helping these schools, apart from government grants. Sahoo lauded activities of the students.
The PPA Secretary gave away prizes to winners of different competitions held among school children of Jagruty. He distributed gifts to the differently-abled employees of Paradip Port Authority as well as children of Jagruty. Paradip Ladies Club led the donations followed by port users, HODs and other eminent persons from the locality towards development of Jagruty.
School faculties were also felicitated on the occasion.
Jagruty Principal Lita Mohanty presented the Annual report of Jagruty. The differently abled children of Jagruty presented cultural programme.
