Paradip Port Trust (PPT) which is moving towards becoming country’s numero uno port in terms of commodity trading and shipping movement, has set new record in railway rakes loading on Wednesday.
A record number of 27 rakes (16 BOXN and 11 BOBR) were loaded inside the Port surpassing the previous record of 25 rakes loaded on March 28, 2019. Similarly, a record number of 63 rakes (32 inward and 31 outward) handled surpassing previous record of 57 rakes handled on January 28 this year.
