The Coal Chemical Department (CCD) of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has added a new feather to its cap by registering best ever monthly Crude Tar Dispatch of 8429 tonnes in the month of September 2022. The Department has generated highest monthly revenue to the tune of Rs. 56 crore for the company through sales of Coal Chemical in the same period. This is almost one-third of the total revenue generated for RSP in September 2022 through marketing.
The total NSR by CCD in the first half of Financial Year 2022-23 is 245 crore, which is a growth of 48 per cent over the corresponding period last year which amounted to Rs. 165 crore.
RSP ED (Works) SR Suryawanshi visited the Department on October 3 and congratulated the team for achieving this feat. He interacted with them and urged all to sustain the momentum and strive towards becoming the best in every respect. Present on the occasion were Tularam Behera, CGM (CO-COCC), BK Tiwari, GM In-charge (CCD), and several other Chief General Managers. The employees in turn assured the management of their commitment towards the making the plant a profitable entity.
