One of the leading private sector manufacturers of non-urea fertilizers and Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) has won the Times Business Award for Distinguished Contribution to Fertilizer Industry.
PPL Head of Corporate Affairs Sudhi Ranjan Mishra received the award from Bollywood actor and noted social activist Sonu Sood at a glittering function here on Saturday.
PPL is the second largest private sector manufacturer of non-urea fertilizers and DAP in terms of volume sales for the nine months ended December 31, 2021. The company’s fertilisers are marketed under the brand names Jai Kisaan-Navratna and Navratna.
The manufacturing facility of PPL located in Paradeep, includes a DAP and NPK production facility, a Sulphuric acid production plant and a Phosphoric acid production plant.
PPL has always shown its commitment for production of required quantities of fertilizer and its services to farmers. There is an uninterrupted effort from the organisation to double the income of farmers.
