TPCODL celebrates successful Tata Sustainability Month 2024 with grand closing ceremony

BHUBANESWAR, JULY 15, 2024 (TBB BUREAU): Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) concluded its successful participation in Tata Sustainability Month (TSM) 2024 with a grand closing ceremony. The event, attended by TPCODL CEO Arvind Singh, senior leadership, employees, and their families, highlighted the company’s unwavering commitment to promoting a greener future.

“Tata Sustainability Month provided a valuable platform to engage our employees and the community in crucial environmental initiatives. We are proud of the progress made, including planting nearly 800 saplings and engaging over 2,000 stakeholders in various activities,” said Arvind Singh.

The ceremony featured a poignant streetplay titled “Rukh Badlo, Kal Sawaron” by Team Sarankul from Nayagarh, emphasizing the importance of sustainability. An exhibition showcased the artistic talents of Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and TPCODL’s NGO partners, highlighting the connection between cultural preservation and environmental responsibility. The event concluded with a recognition ceremony honoring employee participation and outstanding contributions throughout TSM 2024.

Through its involvement in TSM 2024, TPCODL has not only fostered a culture of environmental consciousness but has also empowered employees and the wider community to actively contribute to building a sustainable future.
