Bhubaneswar, May 30, 2024 (TBB Bureau): In a remarkable display of community service and empathy, Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL)orchestrated a series of blood donation camps across its operational areas under the Mission Jeevan initiative.
Despite the relentless heat, volunteers turned up in abundance, underscoring the success of each event and the collective dedication to the noble cause of saving lives.
On World Thalassemia Day, TPCODL organized a significant blood donation drive at the Puri Electrical Division, partnering with the Odisha Blood Centre and the District Headquarters Hospital, Puri. Employees exhibited enthusiasm and solidarity, reaffirming their commitment to community welfare.
In Nayagarh, a camp held in association with the Nayagarh District Blood Bank received a notable inauguration by esteemed medical professionals, Dr. Ramakant Panda and Dr. Ajay Kumar Bahinipati, amplifying the impact of the initiative.
Furthering their partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society, TPCODL conducted camps at Salepur, Cuttack, Marshaghai, and Nimapada Electrical Divisions, witnessing remarkable participation despite the sweltering weather conditions.
The overwhelming response to the blood donation drive resulted in a total of 307 donors across various locations, symbolizing a collective effort toward alleviating the shortage of blood supply.
